Text Flipper

Free

Flip text upside down, mirror it horizontally, or reverse it. Perfect for social media and fun messages.

How it works:

  • Upside Down: Flips characters and reverses order (ʇxǝʇ pǝddᴉlɟ)
  • Mirror: Creates a horizontally mirrored version
  • Reverse: Simply reverses the character order
  • Flip Only: Flips characters without reversing order

What is Upside Down Text?

Upside down text uses special Unicode characters that look like flipped versions of regular letters. When combined with reversing the text order, it creates the illusion of text that has been rotated 180 degrees. This technique works across most websites, social media platforms, and messaging apps because these characters are part of the Unicode standard.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Enter your text in the input field
  2. Choose a flip mode: Upside Down, Mirror, Reverse, or Flip Only
  3. Click "Flip Text" to transform your text
  4. Copy the result and paste it anywhere you want

Flip Modes Explained

Upside Down

Replaces each character with its upside-down equivalent and reverses the text order. The result reads correctly when viewed upside down. Example: "Hello" becomes "ollǝH"

Mirror

Creates a horizontally mirrored version of your text using special characters. The result appears as if reflected in a mirror.

Reverse

Simply reverses the order of characters without changing them. Example: "Hello" becomes "olleH"

Flip Only

Replaces characters with upside-down versions but keeps the original order. Useful for special effects.

Common Use Cases

  • Usernames: Create unique usernames and display names
  • Comments: Add flair to your YouTube and Reddit comments

Compatibility

Upside down text works on most modern platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, and email clients. However, some platforms may not display all special characters correctly, and the appearance may vary slightly depending on the font being used.
